We are looking for someone who understands the importance of solving problems while they are still small, of seeing the person in the midst of the challenge, and of shaping an inclusive workplace where people can thrive and achieve great things together. 

We are looking for an experienced, intelligent, and people-driven HR Leader to support our growth in the UK. This person will be a member of senior leadership, reporting to the GM, and responsible for the growth and development of our team, helping us shape the experience! They will be tasked with recruiting and leading a small team of professionals to bring onboard the best talent and help ensure they have a great career experience with us. They will bring their expertise and hands-on approach to the table to help improve processes that are still being built out, including training and planning for our org, choosing the right benefits package, performance management, onboarding, etc.

  • +6 years of experience in HR role, at least 2 of them leading a team 
  • Experience with benefits & compensation best practices and decision making 
  • Experience recruiting and/or managing recruiting - experience overseeing recruiting of high volume roles is an advantage
  • Solid understanding of UK employment law
  • Experience working globally 
  • Experience working with and consulting to management teams 
  • BA degree in social sciences - an advantage.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Act as business partner and advisor to the UK leadership team on all HR issues - organizational design, hiring, compensation benchmarking, planning and more
  • Lead performance and learning and development processes for the creation of a professional, motivated workforce while ensuring an inclusive workplace with a DEI focus 
  • Create and manage a recruiting plan to bring onboard the bet talent at the right cadence
  • Shape the employee experience of for the UK office, including onboarding and offboarding, benefits, events and celebrations 
  • Create and lead a team of HR professionals 
  • Manage all employee relations issues for the UK partnering with HQ and external resources when needed 
  • Meet regularly with employees and managers to facilitate a comfortable environment in which issues can be raised when they are small and resolved before they grow
  • Strive for data-driven people decisions  
  • Work closely with CHRO to ensure an experience consistent with the companies’ perceptions and values when it comes to people
