Legal Counsel (Maternity Leave Replacement)

We are looking for a junior associate to join our growing legal team as a legal counsel (maternity leave replacement) reporting to VP Legal.

As a member of’s legal team, you’ll support’s business in Israel, Europe, the UK and the US. You will need to have a good general understanding of our production processes, technology, and regulatory framework. In addition to generalist skills, we will expect you to have a deep understanding of the complexities of managing vendors, and negotiating commercial terms and privacy requirements. 

  • 2-3 years of legal experience from an English-speaking tech/corporate department in a leading law firm and/or as in-house legal counsel in an international setting.
  • Bachelor of Laws degree and a qualified lawyer in Israel. An LL.B. degree from an academic institute in the US and/or US qualifications is a plus.
  • Solid experience in reviewing, commenting and providing advice on TCs and commercial contracts, as well as ongoing agreements (NDAs, service and supply agreements).
  • Knowledge and experience in GDPR, HIPAA and privacy laws is a plus.
  • Strong organizational, project management and execution skills – experience working with automation systems is a plus.
  • Ability to balance and prioritize multiple time-sensitive tasks, and manage competing priorities effectively and independently.
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively within a growing team, with internal and external stakeholders and cross-functionally.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  •  Fluent in English and Hebrew.
Role & Responsibilities
  • Review, analyze and negotiate contracts, SOWs, NDAs, and T&Cs with service providers, suppliers, SaaS vendors, and more.
  • Identify potential legal issues and propose solutions to address business requirements while mitigating risk.
  • Improve our existing contracting processes and create new ones – with focus on automation and running processes at scale.
  • Become subject matter expert and the right-hand person for VP Legal in all matters relating to the vendor management process.
  • Coordinate the legal work with the relevant departments in Israel and globally, such as information security, RA/QA, marketing, product, sales.
