Task Force Tech Lead

Our solution uses the smartphone camera to create a visual record of wounds over time, helping clinicians accurately measure and assess wounds, and enabling data-driven care decisions at the right moments while creating a standardized digital record of wound progression—systematic scan and monitor chronic wounds.

We’re looking for a multidisciplinary leader to manage the wound task force. You need to be proactive, initiative and possess a strong sense of ownership. You will be responsible for orchestrating the team, leading the execution and operational perspectives of the systems. You shall work closely with the product manager to reach successful milestones in high quality and on schedule.

The wound task force is comprised of the following positions:

  • Product manager and Designer (not managed by the task force lead) 
  • Backend developers - Node.js is our main language of choice, running on Kubernetes alongside Postgres and RabbitMQ.
  • Front end developers: React, Javascript, Complex GraphQL, RESTful APIs
  • Mobile developers - Native application development in both iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin), UI and UX oriented, utilizing computer vision algorithms to extract and analyze camera data.
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing the relevant technologies 
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position
  • Experience leading software design and architecture
  • Good business and processes understanding, excited about the business. OOB thinking on optimizing production processes and ability to integrate systems 
  • Flexible technologies mindset - wide technology mindset. Love to learn and try new technologies
Role & Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the execution of the wound task force
  • Direct managing team of ~10 developers (BE & FE & Mobile) on-site or offshore 
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of developers, researchers, product managers, designers, sales, and other stakeholders, within and outside the task force.
  • Continually raise the team’s technical bar in terms of both cutting edge research and engineering
  • Be ready to acquire an in-depth understanding of the team’s multidisciplinary challenges, from mobile cameras to clinical studies on chronic wounds.
  • Integration between multiple systems to make automatic and effective production processes
