True to our ‘medical selfie’ vision we are also expanding our product portfolio to enable healthcare professionals to use their smartphone camera to improve documentation and management of chronic wounds, working with sites across the NHS to tackle this £5 billion challenge.

About the role

We are looking for Associate Director of Business Intelligence to join our growing team at a pivotal time in our development. Our smartphone-based technology enables clinical grade urinalysis to be carried out by patients anywhere, anytime - and we are working with patients, pharmacies, and the NHS to transform care for women suffering with urinary tract infections and patients at risk of chronic kidney disease.

You will deliver our UK based BI function to provide consistent and reliable reporting outputs to support and underpin the business and product development and customer needs. You will ensure our solutions integrate with clinical systems and work alongside all functions in Israel and the UK to integrate our internal systems, align reporting needs and provide strategic direction. In time, as BI needs grow, you will recruit as necessary to the team.

  • Educated to degree level in relevant subject or equivalent level qualification or significant experience of working at a similar level in specialist area
  • 5+ years head of function experience or similar level in BI leadership
  • Comprehensive knowledge and experience of Tableau, Excel and other standard data management tools
  • Experience of analysis of complex data sets and presentation of outputs to varied audiences
  • Deep knowledge of NHS data, reporting and BI systems, commissioning and provider datasets, national HES and other data sets,
  • Experience of working in a research environment
  • Experience of monitoring against budgets and business planning processes in a commercial environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communicator and experienced in stakeholder relations management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of project principles, techniques and tools
  • Track record delivering strategic data insights including test and learn using ROI measurement
  • Development of strategies, processes, and procedures to enable smooth and seamless internal and external customer service
  • A quick learner, happy to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
  • Very comfortable with technology and working remotely
  • The ability to clearly articulate complex technical solutions and analysis to non-specialist audiences
  • Strong influencing skills suitable for complex stakeholder environments
  • Comfortable in empowering individuals and teams
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a strong sense of prioritisation and time management
  • Passionate about Business Intelligence
  • Understanding of healthcare processes related extraction, transformation and loading of data across multiple platforms
  • Proven ability to lead a team to run a structured data management environment including manipulation of data to underpin data visualisation tools
  • Knowledge of the governance requirements surrounding sensitive data

Role & Responsibilities
  • Work alongside colleagues to construct appropriate reporting frameworks including high quality data analytic dashboards and develop exceptional data-driven analysis and insights
  • Development and delivery of a consistent approach to data visualisation and reporting across all functions (product management, logistics, sales, programmes and partnerships and operations)
  • Develop strategies, processes, and procedures in BI to drive continuous improvement in functions
  • Work alongside UK and Israeli colleagues and suppliers to deliver interoperability across products
  • Support the Director of Operations in wider organisational strategies as needed
  • Support the design and development of suitable dashboard reports that capture the key metrics and identify variance in performance
  • Support the entire UK business in tracking performance against KPIs and identifying lead and lag indicators
