Back-end developers at Healthy.io are in charge of developing a wide range of services and infrastructures. Our back-end deployments serve a variety of research and medical applications that impact real patients' lives, helping with the diagnostics of medical conditions from the comfort of their homes.
JavaScript and TypeScript are our languages of choice, backed by the Node.js runtime platform. We dockerize everything on the cloud, and we are big fans of Kubernetes.
Requirements
We're currently looking for a back-end developer to join our team. You have to be smart, creative, and a natural go-getter—someone who has fresh ideas and the technical prowess to understand and build a high-quality back-end application
Please note: this position is based out of our Boston, MA office which is operating in a hybrid 3/day per week in-office model.
Requirements:
- 1.5+ years of experience developing backend infrastructure and services in Node.js - mandatory.
- Proficiency in databases (Postgres, MongoDB, Redis) - major advantage.
- Experience working with message delivery systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka) - major advantage.
- B.Sc. in CS or a similar degree - advantage.
- Experience with cloud development and maintenance - advantage.
- Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms - advantage.

- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of developers, researchers, product managers, designers, sales and marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver the best outcomes.
