We are looking for an additional Controller to join our finance team.

Our ideal candidate is a team player with strong analytical, self-learner, and problem-solving skills. 

You should be a well-organized self-starter and detail-oriented.

You’ll report to the Director of Finance.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, CPA 
  • At least 3 years experience after internship 
  • Proficient knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience in SEC reporting for a public company, managerial experience in a "Big 4" accounting firm, and/or operational controllership experience is a must
  • Experience with the financial aspects of revenue recognition, impairment, and M&A
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to take ownership of projects and deadlines
  • Strong communication, management, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably NetSuite
  • Thorough understanding of US GAAP, external reporting process, and timeline
  • Proficiency in assigned areas including the accounting treatment of underlying transactions
  • Technical Accounting knowledge in order to assist with accounting and disclosure assessments of related areas
  • Demonstrated time-management skills in order to meet quarterly reporting deadlines
  • Proven self-initiated problem-solving skills
  • Process-oriented with an ability to communicate goals, accomplishments, risks, and next
  • steps at all stages of a project
Role & Responsibilities
  • Manage the preparation of the external and internal reporting, including financial
  • statements, footnote disclosures, MD&A, and relevant disclosure checklists
  • Lead the quarterly consolidation and preparation of financial statements
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting
  • Lead of the Revenue Recognition policy and compliance with ASC 606
  • Develop and manage strong, collaborative relationships with our global finance department as well as executives
  • Stay abreast of accounting and financial reporting developments; assess, document, and assist with the implementation of new GAAP pronouncements
  • Review of schedules and analyses of quarterly reporting packages
  • Provide professional guidance and review & assure applying accurate accounting principle across all financial topics
  • Manage the preparation/review of audit schedules and provide timely responses to auditor requests
  • Assist with developing and communicating the accounting policies
  • Evaluate processes, drive system enhancements, and identify opportunities to optimize and scale
  • Work closely with the external auditors to resolve complex accounting issues
