Patients with diabetes and hypertension are recommended to have a urine test annually as a way to identify early-stage chronic kidney disease. Currently, each test requires a visit to a physician or laboratory but Healthy.io’s transformative approach enables patients to test at home - making healthcare more accessible for patients and more cost-effective for health plans.

We are looking for an energetic, motivated, and articulate Patient Engagement Advocate to join our team and support us in our mission to bring the “medical selfie” to the US. You will be responsible for communicating directly with patients, educating them on the benefits of our Kidney Check Service, and encouraging them to participate in-home testing. You will actively engage in productive outreach as you conduct outbound calls to selected individuals to get consent, to ensure they understand our purpose, and to answer any questions they may have. You will acquire the skills and knowledge necessary to respond to inbound customer inquiries via chat, phone, and email. Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s degree required, sales experience a plus
  • Exceptional phone skills, phone etiquette, interpersonal, written and oral communication skills
  • Self starter with a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic startup environment
  • Passion for providing innovative healthcare solutions and helping people
  • Team player with a willingness to succeed
  • Adaptability; processes and workflows may change as we look to improve the patient experience 
  • Upbeat, energetic and proactive, with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team 
  • Highly organized with attention to detail 
  • Confident using technology and proven experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office systems 
Role & Responsibilities
  • Make high volume outreach calls for time bound initiatives on a tight schedule 
  • Help patients understand the process, address their concerns, and answer questions in an articulate manner
  • Handle sensitive data with great attention to detail 
  • Engage with patients across multiple channels: SMS, email, and phone
  • Maintain current knowledge of Heatlhy.io products and technology with the ability to relay this information in a clear, concise manner to patients.
  • Collaborate with your supervisors and peers to identify and quickly resolve issues, recommend new approaches to strive for best practices 
  • Work alongside the customer success team to achieve contract KPIs and enhance the patient experience.
