Healthy.io is the first company to successfully turn the smartphone camera into a clinical-grade medical device, enabling faster treatment and improved care for patients worldwide. Our products combine computer vision and machine learning technology with best-in-class UX design to create new clinical pathways through smartphone-powered urinalysis, digitized wound management, and beyond.

The overarching goal of "BRAIN" is to help the company to scale and bring value by defining, automating and connecting cross-cutting processes in the company, from production, quality control and regulation to marketing, finance, and sales. A lot of the magic happens in the connections, and "BRAIN" is a super interesting TF as the tasks and goals are very horizontal and relate to a wide range of domains, processes and technologies within the company.

Brain is a multidisciplinary team. including:

  • Product manager and Designer (not managed by the task force lead) 
  • Backend developers - Node.js is our language of choice, running on Kubernetes alongside Postgres and RabbitMQ.
  • Front end developers: Complex GraphQL, Javascript Google APIs (Authentication, Google Drive etc).


Requirements
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing the relevant technologies 
  • At least 3 years of experience in a leadership position
  • Experience leading software design and architecture
  • Good business and processes understanding, excited about the business. OOB thinking on optimizing production processes and ability to integrate systems 
  • Flexible technologies mindset - wide technology mindset. Love to learn and try new technologies
Role & Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for the execution of the “Brain” task force
  • Direct managing team of ~4 developers (BE & FE) in site or offshore 
  • Continually raise the team’s technical bar in terms of both cutting edge research and engineering
  • Be ready to acquire an in-depth understanding of the team’s multidisciplinary challenges, from mobile cameras to clinical studies on chronic wounds.
  • Integration between multiple systems to make automatic and effective production processes  
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of developers, researchers, product managers, designers, sales, and other stakeholders, within and outside the task force.
