Senior DevOps Engineer

With the company's growth, we're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who can help shape our current and future implementations by collaborating with a team of highly skilled DevOps engineers. Our technological stack is very rich - Node.js, Python, C++, Go, Kotlin, Swift, Groovy (We use Jenkins ;) ) and backed by Postgres, RabbitMQ, Redis and more. The infrastructure heavily relies on Docker and Kubernetes, especially on Helm and Terraform running both GCP and AWS.

Because we work in the medical field, our implementations must be especially secure, resilient, reliable by default. We hold ourselves up to the highest standards, and our engineer should be able to carefully architect and develop new services while being mindful of the smallest details. We also make sure we are versed in the most up-to-date modern tooling, libraries, and frameworks.

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps or similar roles supporting critical production systems with minimal downtime. (Must)
  • 3+ Hands-on object-oriented programming experience.(Must)
  • Hands-on automation experience with GCP and AWS and other cloud providers. (Must)
  • Security. Strong knowledge in security fundamentals: authentication/authorization frameworks (e.g., SSO, SAML, OAuth), secure transport (e.g., SSL, TLS), identity management (e.g., certificates, PKI), SAST, DAST and vulnerability scanning.
  • Hands-on experience with managing SQL and NoSQL databases. (PostgreSQL,Redis)
  • Experience with automation and orchestration technologies such as Helm, Terraform, Pulumi, Dockerfile, GitHub, Jenkins, etc. (Must)
  • Solid understanding of fundamental technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, networking, security best practices, performance, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with large scale production deployments
  • Leadership skills - Agile methodologies, code review, design review and project management.
  • Experience working with compliance and security certifications and frameworks (PCI, SOC2, Hitrust, HIPPA, GDPR, ISO-27001, etc)
  • FinOps tools and optimizations

Role & Responsibilities
  • Lead complex projects from a-z involving various stakeholders, domains and technologies.
  • Proactively identify scaling issues and collaborate with architects and software engineers to address them.
  • Professional engineering and architecture focal point for the DevOps team and R&D.
  • Operate in an Agile development environment, including participating in daily scrums.
  • Take ownership of operational excellence and be the point of contact for troubleshooting, diagnosing and resolving production issues.
