VP of Operations

About the position is the first company to successfully turn the smartphone camera into a clinical-grade medical device, enabling faster treatment and improved care for patients worldwide. Our products combine computer vision and machine learning technology with best-in-class UX design to create new clinical pathways through smartphone-powered urinalysis, digitized wound management, and beyond.

Headquartered in Tel Aviv with 300 employees across London, Boston, and Singapore we are growing fast as we serve more and more patients across ever-expanding areas of healthcare.

The VP of Operations will play a critical role ensuring the quality and efficiency of our US operations. You will drive how we actually operationalize our business model. This will include managing our US fulfillment strategy (inventory planning, storage & warehousing, and distribution to end customers), procurement & supplier relationship management, quality management system, and corporate operations. This role will manage our call center team, operations, logistics, business analytics and information security reporting into them.


The successful candidate will demonstrate most of the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or a related field, MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred
  • 8-10 years experience in operations or related field
  • Previous P&L responsibility preferred
  • Proven track record as a successful operations leader, both hands on and leading a small team in a rapid growth environment, Ideally in the digital space. 
  • Experience leading operational goals cross-functionally is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated project and budget management skills
  • Strong business acumen 
  • Analytical problem-solving skills with an impeccable attention to detail
  • Ability to set overall strategy and drive process improvement
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Executive presence with strong interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate and build a consensus in a high-pressure environment
  • This person will be a self-starter, problem-solver, eager to change and ready to challenge assumptions
  • Grit and holds others to a high execution bar 
  • Previous global, start-up experience preferred
Role & Responsibilities
  • The Director will assist the US General Manager in the development of business plans and identification of strategic initiatives to achieve operational efficiencies
  • lays a critical role in building the US team and setting a high bar for performance and constantly improving it
  • Identify and analyze issues, risks, and gaps in current processes, making recommendations and plans for continuous improvement
  • Ensure unimpeded operations for
  • Invent, rebuild, and project manage to successful completion complex work-flows driving, growing, and expanding operations to support an aggressive growth strategy
  • Work with the finance / P&L team to manage the quarterly and annual budgeting process and P&L responsibilities
  • Monitor team performance to proactively identify efficiency issues and propose solutions
  • Manage and provide regular performance updates to GM and the senior leadership team
  • Manage and grow Call Center and Supply Chain/Logistics Function
  • Develop an in-depth and ongoing understanding of all phases of the company's operations 
  • Liaise with key stakeholders in the Israeli office (EDT + 7 time zone), travel when needed and feasible
